Sunset/Moonrise

Psalm 104:19
He made the moon to mark the season, and the sun knows when to go down.

This coordination of the moon and the sun...
It captures me.
And I am reminded.
The God who tells the sun when to set
and has the moon ready at just the right moment
is the same God who cares deeply about me.

humbled
                amazed
                                grateful.

  1. Carol, so lovely to “meet you” through Deidra this weekend! Thank you for this sweet reminder — He’s got me covered.

  2. Joanne Norton says:

Good thinking and sharing. And I always love the photos that show the sun or moon or stars…can hardly wait to see them when I’m “flying” to heaven. Makes me smile.

    • I love sunrises as much as sunsets, but I am rarely up for them! the sunrise and the sunset each have their own feeling, don’t they! thanks for visiting. are you from the Sunday Community by chance?

  3. And God isn’t boring, the cycle of the sun and moon are different. Thus each day they are in slightly different positions. Amazingly creative.
