Rejoice

the mornings and evenings

We just returned from two weeks in Florida, watching the early morning sunrises off the Atlantic Coast.
March of 2008, we also spent time on the Gulf coast of Florida and experienced the evening sunset each day.

Oh God,
Nothing says “rejoice” like a
glorious sunrise and peaceful sunset.
And it all “happens”
by Your power
for our enjoyment.
And it’s all grace.

  1. Florida coast sunrises are breathtaking! I don’t usually get up early while on vacation, but when we are in Florida I make sure to get up for the sunrise! Beautiful reminders of God’s glory.

    1. I too am not a morning person at all, but in on vacation in Florida, I would be right there with you , watching for the sun. I might however, go back to bed! thanks for stopping by, Kim

My husband’s brother in law came to stay wtih my dad since i hve no other siblings anymore. The time away was wonderful and I love florida in march!

    1. oh to live on the beach, be close to the water. This past week i was standing on the beach in North Miami Beach, asking God for a fresh sense of his presence, right then….and i heard the waves and it was like he said, I keep sending the waves, over and over and over – like me love it just keeps coming. I decided this spring I wil try to get to Lake Michigan at least every 4-6 weeks. it feed my soul. thanks for stsopping by donna
