“Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 Sometimes my soul needs to sit quietly. absorbing the sounds of rippling water, having prayer requests no agenda. I have been eyeing this quiet nook a couple times a week, all summer long. Often I have considered how I might get back in there, sit and be quiet. Today I can't resist and from my spot at the foot of the tree, I find what I am looking for.
Oh, such beauty in the rhythms of stillness. I feel it with you, friend.
Thanks for joining us at Unforced Rhythms.
thanks for your visit Kelli. I hope you find some quiet too.
This is a real treat to see and to read. Thank you so much. And I’m a “watery” person, too. LOVE streams, oceans, bays, lakes, waterfalls. AND rocks. LOTS of rocks. I’m an addict of these things. Thank you much for your sharing post this time.
i have often wondered what exactly it is about water that has such a universal appeal – i find it interesting. my kids just moved to Portland and they were at Cannon Beach today. I was jealous!
The perfect nook, Carol! I’m so glad you found a way in. Thanks so much for stopping by my place, it is very nice to meet you.

Carol, it always amazes me how our souls truly know what they need. Our souls call us back to rest. To quiet. To Him. Have a blessed Sunday!
Yes, Joanne, our souls know…and when we stop long enough we hear – thanks for your visit here today.
