This morning the reading from Psalms was this passage from Psalm 19 and I remembered the displays of God's greatness I have seen at my lake. And I share them here with Lishsa Epperson and the "Give Me Grace" Community. Psalm 19:1-4 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. God's way of speaking, burrows into my heart and into my soul always, but especially in these days
Our 2 1/2yr old granddaughter was visiting us last weekend. When she woke up in the morning she ran to the window to look outside and joyfully announced to us, “Look Gramma, God gave us a beautiful day!” No wonder we’re encouraged to remain like the little ones.
Thank you also for pointing our view to His lovely invitation to listen.
2 1/2 year old grandchildren are precious….and point us to God! thanks for stopping by.
Carol, you know how much God speaks to me through the sky. The heavens do declare His presence in such awesomeness who could possibly deny it.
Praying for you as you negotiate the coming days and weeks. May you find God ever present, day and night! Love you!!
Yes. A good prayer for me through these days. It was such a gift to look up and see your dear face after the memorial service.
The familiar precious words of this Psalm are a sweet sound in my ears this morning.
Blessings on you, Carol, as you head into this week ….
thanks for visiting Linda. Even though we haven’t met, I always feel like I have had a visit of from a friend. Maybe someday we will meet face to face.
Yesssssss, inspiring in visuals and in the words.
